Elangeni Consulting offers a complete integrated Backup and Disaster Recovery Solution (BDR) designed to backup multiple Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 Servers. This solution replaces management intensive, error-prone tape backups while providing a completely automatic managed service. The total BDR Solution is fully monitored and managed 24x7 by our Network Operations Center. We perform daily verification tests to verify the integrity of the data. In the event of server failure, we will have your organization up and running in as quickly as 2 hours. In the case of catastrophe, you will have a fully functional server within 48 hours, on the weekdays and within 96 hours if the event occurs on a weekend.

Capabilities

In the event of a physical server failure, the backups will be virtualized and the server with the same name will be available until the physical server can be repaired.

Our service can protect your data as frequently as every 15 minutes, every day. This provides hundreds of additional backup copies vs. tape backup allowing multiple restore points to recover the most current version of your data just prior to the data loss event. Off-site backup frequencies will be dependent on image sizes and internet bandwidth available.

Our service offers scheduled backup plans that include a 7-Day, 14-Day or 30-Day archives on the NAS which can be selectively pushed out to a remote storage facility. The option of expanding the retention period from a 1-Year to 7-Year History is also available.

• Secure Remote (Off-site) Storage provided at two hardened Data Centers.
• Day to day data restoration by request and full recovery in the event of catastrophe.
• Full management of the NAS and remote storage.
• 256-bit AES encryption technology. Neither the data center nor engineers will have access to your data.
• Minimum commitment is 2 years.
• Elangeni owns the Advanced NAS devices.
• Will only work with servers that are monitored by our service.
